[CONFIDENTIAL - DO NOT FORWARD]

[Head of Security],

I am reaching out regarding the latest findings at the excavation site. It has come to my attention—through sources I trust implicitly—that there may be a [REDACTED] hidden within an obsidian chamber beneath the [REDACTED].

At this stage, it is imperative that this information remains strictly between us and our benefactors. The excavation team must not be made aware of [REDACTED] under any circumstances. Their focus should remain on the structural and historical significance of Chamber B at the site.

That said, you are authorized to disclose the existence of the obsidian chamber beneath the [REDACTED] to the team if necessary to maintain operational transparency. Our benefactors refer to this discovery as The Obsidian Archive. If questions arise, frame it as a remarkable archaeological find—one that will require specialized handling and further research.

I trust you to ensure site security remains uncompromised. Any unusual activity—internal or external—must be reported to me immediately. Discretion is paramount.

We’ll discuss next steps in our upcoming briefing. In the meantime, monitor all communications carefully.

Subject: RE: Sensitive Information Regarding Excavation Near Örencik
Date: March 10, 2025

[CONFIDENTIAL - DO NOT FORWARD]

Director Perdue,

Understood. I will ensure that all security protocols are maintained and that this information remains strictly need-to-know. The excavation team will be informed of the obsidian chamber beneath the abandoned farmhouse near Örencik as directed, but no mention of [REDACTED] will be made.

I will also increase monitoring of internal and external communications for any signs of unauthorized leaks or breaches. Any unusual activity at the farmhouse or surrounding area will be reported to you immediately. There are signs that the site may have been disturbed before our arrival, which warrants closer monitoring.

Let me know if any additional security measures need to be put in place ahead of further excavation efforts.

Respectfully,

Jason Kniffin
